Partners Urgent Care opened up its 11th center today in Westwood, Massachusetts, offering convenient, quality care.

“Partners Urgent Care is committed to providing patients with high-quality, affordable care where they are and when they need it,” said Marc J. Shapiro, MD, Medical Director of Partners Urgent Care, an attending emergency physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. “Partners Urgent Care is a lower-cost option for unexpected illnesses and injuries like sprains and stitches without having to go to the emergency room.”

In addition to being able to walk in, patients can check in online or by phone.

Patients do not have to be a current patient of Partners HealthCare. However, if they require follow-up care, they may be connected to primary care physicians (PCPs) or specialists, including physicians within the Partners HealthCare system.
