In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Partners HealthCare has instituted two important policy changes:

1. Updated visitor policy: Patients in most areas will be allowed one healthy visitor at a time, and all visitors will be screened before being allowed to access the facility. In areas with high risk patient populations such as skilled nursing and long-term care, our facilities have implemented even stricter restrictions per federal guidelines.  All are asked to access the specific facility’s website before attempting to visit.

2. Staff who are not required to be onsite to perform their duties will work remotely for the foreseeable future. As the region’s largest private employer, we have a responsibility to promote social distancing in order to help prevent further community spread and to ensure that we are doing everything possible to have an adequate workforce to care for patients.
