Partners HealthCare, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) are proud sponsors of the 2012 Massachusetts Pavilion at the Bio International Convention. The conference, a global gathering of people in the biotechnology field, is taking place in Boston this year from June 18-21 and will bring together more than 15,000 biotech professionals from around the world.

Partners, MGH, and BWH will be showcasing some of their latest research at the Massachusetts Pavilion, which is being run by MassBio, the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council. The Pavilion's theme is "Lifecycle Massachusetts", with a goal of showing attendees the depth and breadth of life sciences in the state.

Partners HealthCare's Research Ventures & Licensing (RVL) division will also be represented at the conference. RVL staff will represent the portfolio of research technologies available for licensing at an exhibit in the BIO Academic Zone (Booth #2555), and will actively engage with industry through BIO partnering sessions. In addition, RVL leadership will be featured as panel speakers and presenters.

Attendees will get a glimpse into the world of research within Partners hospitals and institutions through video and print displays. Partners institutions are leaders in biomedical research, and the discoveries borne out of that research improve medical care and discovery here and around the world.

Governor Deval Patrick, Mayor Thomas Menino, and other Massachusetts leaders will be visiting the Pavilion.
