Stipend
Beginning in academic year 23/24, residents and clinical fellows in most GME office approved programs will receive an $10,000 stipend annually. The stipend is intended to assist with the cost of housing, child care, or any other financial challenges. This stipend is in addition to the salary paid to the trainee.
Trainees who have question about their specific circumstance (i.e. program, year in program) and eligibility should discuss this first with their program director, who can then discuss this with the Director of GME.

Resident and Clinical Fellow Contracts
Mass General Brigham requires that a contract be issued to each resident and clinical fellow annually.
