Information for residents and fellows who rotate to the VA
Given the uncertainty of COVID-19, BWH is offering options to provide your own photo for your ID. Badges will be distributed by each program; trainees will not pick up their badge from the ID office.
There are several options for trainee respirator fit testing - please review the link for available options noting that the N95 is only one form of PPE that is required when exposed to ERI tasks and environments. Training is required to be able to recognize what PPE is required and how to don/doff the PPE per OSHA and MGB policy. That computer-based HS Training can be self-assigned to staff or assigned through a department Health Stream Administrator. It needs to be assigned/completed before staff perform ERI tasks for the first time and annually thereafter.
The I-9 process will be completed in person with a Human Resources representative.
