The Resident/Fellow as Teacher Award
The award is given to a resident or fellow who has demonstrated a passion and talent for teaching and who has made a significant contribution to the learning of others.
Eligibility: Appointed during the award year as a resident or fellow in any GME program sponsored by one of the Mass General Brigham hospitals.
Nominations should include the following:
Required:
1) at least one and no more than three letters (no more than 500 words each) from students, residents, or fellows
2) letter (no more than 500 words) from the Program Director, or Department Chair or Division Chief
Optional:
letter from one or more faculty that have observed the nominee’s teaching
Nominations should illustrate the ways in which the resident/fellow is an effective teacher and how their particular interest and dedication in this area are demonstrated.
