The Outstanding Mentor Award
The award is given to a faculty member who has made an exceptional contribution as a mentor.
Eligibility: Faculty member at one or more Mass General Brigham teaching hospital for at least three years.
Nominations should include the following:
- at least one and no more than four letters (no more than 500 words each) from students, residents, fellows or faculty colleagues (letters may be co-authored)
Nominations should illustrate the specific ways in which the mentor is unusually effective, and should comment on their impact. It may be helpful to describe how this person’s approach to mentoring provides a useful example for others.
