Georgi Bland GME Institutional Citizen Award
This award is given every three years to recognize an individual who has demonstrated remarkable generosity and dedication in supporting Graduate Medical Education at Mass General Brigham over a considerable period of time, with a recognized positive impact on colleagues, educational programs and/or outcomes. The awardee's contributions might include serving on committees and task forces, mentoring colleagues, sharing educational tools and resources with other programs, participating in institution or system-wide teaching activities, representing the institution in the larger GME community, etc. These contributions have gone beyond fulfillment of the responsibilities attached to the person's role, and reflect a commitment to volunteerism and teamwork.
Eligibility: Any member of the Mass General Brigham community (including faculty, trainees, staff and volunteers).
Criteria: Significant contribution to the Mass General Brigham GME mission, beyond what the individual’s role usually involves.
Nomination: one - two letters (no more that 500 words each) describing the nominee’s contributions and impact.
