Human Resources
Partners HealthCare Human Resources (HR) is focused on activities that support the design and delivery of HR programs and services across the Partners HealthCare System. Within our institutions, the HR function is staffed with strong and knowledgeable leaders who enjoy local support and who are aligned with the institutions’ goals, mission and culture. These professionals also work collaboratively with their HR colleagues across the system. Structured around a business partner model, the department administers all HR policies and programs, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations and training and development (including the Professional Development Series) for employees across many sites.
As the Partners HealthCare network has expanded and grown in complexity, so too has the breadth and depth of services provided to the institutions by the core HR specialty areas. Staff from the core specialty areas serve, in many cases, as “internal consultants” who work collaboratively with the HR staff and senior management at the institutions to provide infrastructure support for meeting the institutions’ immediate and changing needs. The core specialty HR departments provide a high level of direct services to the institutions.
