Partners HealthCare is committed to maintaining the highest
ethical standards in business practices. Everyone who works
in our organization shares in the responsibility of achieving
this goal. As part of our commitment, we are sharing with
our vendors and contractors the Partners Guide to Ethical
Standards, a summary of policies and principles that all of
us must follow.
This website also provides our vendors with the opportunity
to view and download policies that provide more detailed guidance
to our staff and vendors on achieving our business integrity
standards and operational goals.
If you become aware of a violation of these standards or
policies, or of any other wrongdoing, please report it. Calling
the Partners Compliance HelpLine at 1-800-856-1983 is a convenient
and confidential way to report a concern 24 hours a day, 7
days a week. The person taking the report will contact the
Compliance & Business Integrity Department for you. If
you want to remain anonymous, you can make a report without
leaving your name.
Partners will investigate all reports of wrongdoing and will
take action to correct problems. You should be aware that
federal and state laws allow citizens to raise concerns about
fraud, waste, and abuse and to bring suit on behalf of the
government to recover fraudulently obtained funds. Partners
employees or the employees of our vendors may not be threatened,
harassed or discriminated against in retaliation for exercising
their rights under these laws.
We respect the expertise, products and services that our
vendors provide. Your work is an integral part of achieving
our mission. We encourage you to partners with us by adopting
a code of conduct and policies in your own organization that
reflect a commitment to achieving both compliance with legal
requirements and high standards of business integrity.
