Services:
  • Fee for service technical support: Typical service requests include: assistance with programming, desktop support. or server administration. In the past, these services would have to be contracted out to external providers. To respond to this need, we offer fee for service contracting at competitive rates.

  • Desktop/laptop disaster backup for non-standard devices: We allow users to back up their non-standard desktops and laptops running Windows, Macintosh or Linux operating systems to secure and reliable systems for data disaster recovery. Partners Information Systems does not offer desktop backup. However, users are encouraged to store files and data on their home drives. These drive are then backed up nightly.

  • Purchasing Academic Software Licenses: As a service to the research community, we gather software requests from labs and process them as one order. This "group buy" affords a lower price per license. Labs reimburse the core for the cost of the software only. There are no fees or margin..
