Core Summary:

The Survey and Measurement Core (SMC) supports a broad spectrum of research by providing expert guidance on the design and implementation of surveys and the measurement of social, psychological, and behavioral predictors and outcomes. 

We offer individual consultations, access to the most commonly used (standardized) tools, and educational workshops.

Workshops
The Survey and Measurment Core holds educational workshops throughout the year on a range of topics.

Fee Schedule/Rates:

The Survey and Measurement Core is now operating on a fee-for-service basis. However, we are still offering up to 2 hours of consulting at no charge. Typically, this would cover an initial discussion of project goals and, if needed, a recommendation for existing measures. If a measurement tool is in our inventory we are also happy to send it along to you.

Beyond 2 hours of time, our fee is $120/hour ($600/day) with a 30% discount for DF/HCC members. There is no charge for grant-related work if core faculty time is included in the grant budget.

Fee Structure

One-time consults (pre-award):

  • less than 2 hours of faculty time---No charge
  • 2 hours or more-----$120/hour*

Hourly rates for all post-award services:

  • $120 / hour core faculty time*

Daily rates for all post-award services:

  • $600/day core faculty time*

*30% discounted fee structure applied for DF/HCC members
