From the West
- Via the Massachusetts Turnpike: Take Exit 22 at Copley Square.
Follow the left lane labeled Prudential Center and take Huntington
Avenue West approximately two miles, passing Longwood Avenue. The
hospital main entrance is located at 75 Francis Street. Blue Longwood
Medical Area signs are along Huntington Avenue to direct you. Signs
direct you to parking facilities in the general area.
- Via Route 9: Go east, toward Brookline Village. Immediately after
Hearthstone Plaza, there is an intersection with Brookline Avenue.
Continue straight, following signs to BWH.
From the North
Via Logan Airport, the Tobin Bridge, Route 1, or Route 93:
Follow signs to Storrow Drive. After the Copley Square - Massachusetts
Avenue sign, take a left off Storrow Drive marked Fenway - Route 1.
Take a right fork marked Boylston Street Outbound. At the next major
intersection, bear left onto Brookline Avenue following the blue Longwood
Medical information signs along the way. Proceed past Beth Israel
Hospital through the next major intersection. BWH is on the left after
passing the Deaconess Hospital (turn left onto Francis Street). The
hospital main entrance is located at 75 Francis Street. Signs direct
you to parking facilities in the general area
From the South
- Via the Southeast Expressway: Exit right for the Massachusetts
Avenue Roxbury exit (be careful to follow the signs for Massachusetts
Avenue). Cross over Massachusetts Avenue, follow Malina Cass Boulevard
until the Ruggles street MBTA station and Northeastern ariality,
turn left onto Tremont Street. Take the second right onto Ruggles
Street. At the end of Ruggles Street, turn left onto Huntington
Avenue. Continue on Huntington Avenue, passing Longwood Avenue.
BWH is located at 75 Francis Street, which will be on your right.
Blue Longwood Medical Area signs are along Huntington Avenue to
direct you. Signs will direct you to parking facilities in the general
area.
- Via Routes 1, 28 and 138. On Route 1 continue to the JamaicaWay.
From Routes 28 and 138 take Morton Street and the Arborway to the
JamaicaWay. Continue on the JamaicaWay as it turns into the Riverway.
At the intersection with Brookline Avenue turn right onto Brookline
Avenue.
BY SUBWAY
Take the Green Line, E Train, Health Street Car to the Brigham
Circle stop. Exit the train at Brigham Circle and signs will direct
you to the hospital.
BY BUS
Travel to the Brigham Circle stop, or if that route is unavailable
from where you are, take an MBTA bus to the nearest MBTA subway station.
BY AUTOMOBILE
From the West
Via the Massachusetts Turnpike, take the Cambridge-Allston
exit. Bear right after the toll booth. Make a right at the first set
of lights onto Storrow Drive. After approximately five (5) miles take
the Government Center exit. Follow signs to Downtown and Government
Center (Cambridge Street). At first set of lights take left onto North
Grove Street; parking garages are on the left and right.
From the North
Via I-93 or I-1 take the Storrow Drive exit and get in the
left lane. Take the Government Center exit off Storrow Drive. Follow
the signs to Downtown/Government Center (as above).
From the South
Via Southeast Expressway (I-93) take the Storrow Drive exit.
Take the Government Center exit off Storrow Drive. Follow signs to
Downtown/Government Center (as above).
BY SUBWAY
Take the Red Line to Charles Street/MGH Station. Walk along
Cambridge Street for one block. Take a left onto North Grove Street.
Note: The Charles Street Subway Station is not
handicap-accessible.
