VISAS FOR TRAINEES

Residents and fellows who are entering ACGME accredited training programs and have graduated from an international medical school are required to obtain visa sponsorship prior to beginning their program. The following offices will help you in determining the appropriate visa, and guide you in the application process:

Research Visas (H1-B, TN and J-1)

Note: J-1 visa holders may not participate in moonlighting or other professional activities outside their training program.
