Win VPN & Dial-in:
Employees: sign-up for VPN and Dial-in remote access online (internal only)
Vendors & collaborators: to sign-up for VPN remote access download the two forms below.
Vendor/Collaborator VPN Application .doc .pdf
Partners Confidentiality Agreement .doc .pdf
When completing the Vendor/Collaborator VPN Application:
1. Leave the field, "Partners Username" blank unless you already have one.
2. In the field, "Manager", enter the name of the active Partners affiliate employee with whom you are working.
3. In the "Authorization" field at the bottom of the form, you will need the approval and signature of the person you entered as "Manager" before faxing to the number listed on the form. *That person will be contacted before you are authorized.
After completing the forms, fax them to the number indicated with a coversheet. It may take up to a week+ for I.S. Account Administration to process your request. To check on the status of your request, call the Help Desk at 617-726-5085.
When you apply for, and are granted, remote access you receive a SecureID token in the mail and an email with directions on how to download the necessary software from our VPN provisioning site; you need your SecurID token to access the download. The Windows Cisco 3030 VPN client download is pre-configured; you simply download and install.
If you already have your SecurID token and need to download a VPN client, go HERE. You will be prompted to enter your Partners username and your SecurID password and currently displayed number; before doing so change the "Realm" field to "VPN Software".

Win Citrix:
Citrix is software that allows non-Partners build PC users to access applications
that were built to run only in a Partners-build PC environment (e.g., CAS,
RPDR, PAS) from home while connected to the Partners Network via remote access.
To install Citrix, you must go to the Partners Portal webpage which will prompt
you for your Partners username and password. You will be prompted to install
the Citrix client; this must be done while logged on to the Partners Network
via remote access.
To install Citrix, create boilerplate icons, and launch applications:
1. NAVIGATE TO > http://portal.partners.org
You will be prompted to download and install the Citrix client

2. CLICK > Install Citrix ICA......
3. SELECT > Run this program from its current
location

and CLICK > OK
4. At this prompt, CLICK > YES

5. CLICK > Yes

6. Read License Agreement and if you accept, CLICK
> Yes

The Citrix client will now install.
7. CLICK > OK to restart your browser.

8. HOVER OVER > "Partners Applications"
and CLICK > the application you want:

You will be prompted to download a "boilerplate" or desktop shortcut
icons to the applications mentioned above:

9. CLICK > OK
10. At this screen, SAVE > "boilerplate.ica"
to your desktop

11. When the download is complete, CLICK > Open
and the application will launch

and the shortcut icon "boilerplate.ica" will appear on your desktop.

You can rename this shortcut icon to the application it launches, for example:

Clicking a boilerplate icon will launch the designated application in a Citrix
session window on your desktop without having to go to the Partners Portal each
time.
You can tell that a Citrix session is active by looking for the "ica"
taskbar icon:
