| A 16-year-old high school student from
Maine accidentally severed her hand during woodworking
class. She was rushed to MGH, which pioneered limb reattachments
40 years ago, where her hand was successfully reattached
during a 13 hour operation. Months of rehabilitation remain
ahead shes returned to school and is in good health. |
