  07/08 MGH and BWH Ranked on U.S. News National Honor Roll
    Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), the founders of Partners HealthCare, have again earned high marks on the U.S. News & World Report annual Honor Roll of America’s Best Hospitals, with both hospitals ranking in the top ten.  MGH ranked fifth nationally, while BWH ranked eighth. In all, four Partners HealthCare hospitals earned high rankings in the report. More

In recognition of its achievements in IT, which translate into higher patient satisfaction and better outcomes, Partners HealthCare has been named one of the nation's top 100 'Most Wired' hospitals and health systems for the tenth consecutive year by Hospital and Health Networks (H&HN) magazine. Partners HealthCare is one of only six organizations in the country to earn the honor each year since H&HN first debuted the list in 1999. More

    04/08 National Healthcare Decisions Day is set for Wednesday, April 16, 2008
   

On April 16th, Partners HealthCare System will participate in a massive effort to highlight the importance of advanced healthcare decision-making.  This is a national effort that has culminated in the formal designation of April 16, 2008 as National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD).  The U.S. Senate has issued a proclamation in support of NHDD (Sen.Con.Res.73) and there is a concurrent bill in the House.  In addition, Governor Deval Patrick of MA has issued a state proclamation supporting NHDD in Massachusetts, where April 16th has also been named "Massachusetts Healthcare Proxy Day". Partners HealthCare is both a national participant and state sponsor of NHDD.More

Partners HealthCare’s internally developed ambulatory electronic health care record has been certified by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) as meeting all criteria for functionality and security. More

    07/07 Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women's Hospitals ranked on U.S. News National Honor Roll
    MGH ranked fifth nationally, while BWH ranked tenth among the 18 hospitals on the list. McLean Hospital climbed from fourth to third place in psychiatry, while MGH held its first place ranking in the same category. Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital was also named, placing eighth in the rehabilitation category. More
