Organizations that wish to collaborate with Partners to achieve long-term
improvement in mission-critical services can become International Associates.
These associations are built around one or more of the following types
of collaboration:
- Patient Care Collaboration: Associations in which
Partners provides high quality diagnostic and treatment services to
patients referred by the International Associate.
- Educational Collaboration: Associations in which
Partners provides continuing medical education, short-term experiential
learning opportunities for physicians, and other clinical staff.
- Consultative Collaboration: Associations in which
Partners advises the International Associate on the development and/or
upgrading of clinical programs and services offered by the International
Associate.
- Health Care Management Collaboration: Associations
in which Partners is retained by the International Associate to manage
a health care facility or program owned by the International Associate.
This may also include opportunities for training of the International
Associate's administrative staff.
- Partners Premiere Program Association: A
special form of association is through our membership program - Partners
Premiere. Program Associations are available to international
organizations that wish to incorporate Partners Premiere as part of
their own executive health or other membership based patient assistance
program.
An Association usually takes the form of a multi-year agreement between
the International Associate (or Program Associate) and PIMS.
The agreement defines the purposes, objectives, scope of activity and
milestones of the Association, as well as the financial and legal terms.
