Greek patients or physicians may coordinate medical appointments in Boston through the Partners'' office in Athens. Based in Athens , A.H. Overseen by Mr. Dimitris Bougas, an experienced executive who has dedicated over 20 years of his professional career to serving Greek patients, and his staff, the Partners office in Athens can provide services for Greek patients, their families and referring physicians at no extra cost. Greek-speaking staff will provide the following services:

General orientation to Partners HealthCare System and its flagship Harvard Medical School teaching affiliates, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, McLean Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute Coordinate transmission of medical records, including translation into English Coordinate appointments and preparation for hospital admission Provide information on regulations of Greek payers, including pre-authorization of medical care Facilitate travel and concierge needs of patients Ensure that referring physician is provided with discharge summary and other medical information pertaining to patient’s treatment in the Partners hospital.

This office does not provide medical care. In addition to serving Greek patients, Mr. D. Bougas and his staff will field inquiries requests from the Greek medical community relating to health care educational and advisory services, clinical service development, laboratory management .
