Washington, D.C. Medical Symposia

Since 2000, Partners has hosted an annual medical symposium for members of the international diplomatic and non-governmental sector. The program features leading Harvard faculty addressing new advances in a clinical area of relevance to the international audience. In 2006, the program tried a new approach with the screening of the Partners-produced video, "Wired to Win", a documentary about the human brain told through the story of two professional cyclists competing in the Tour de France bicycle race. Since 2003, the program has been held in cooperation with an embassy with whom Partners has established relations.
