Partners International Cardiovascular Conference

December 5-7, 2007

The Partners International Cardiovascular Conference Series began in 2004, with the goal of sharing knowledge about state-of-the-art practices in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease with physicians from around the world. Supported by an educational grant from Pfizer, this series of 3-day conferences has been attended by thousands of cardiologists supported by Pfizer from the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Latin America. The faculty includes professors from Harvard Medical School as well as leading academic cardiologists. Certificates of attendance are provided by Harvard Medical International.

 

 

Annual Arab Health Fair and Exhibition

Dubai, January 28-31, 2008

Drawing an annual audience of over 30,000 people from 64 countries, Arab Health is the largest medical trade show and conference in the Middle East. Partners International Program is a leading participant each year, providing speakers with expertise from a variety of medical specialties as well as healthcare administration. At left, Partners CEO James J. Mongan, MD lectured on "High Performance Medicine" during the 2007 Arab Health Leadership Congress.

PAST PROJECTS

UAE Military Healthcare System

Partners assisted in the upgrade program of the UAE military healthcare system from 2000 to 2001. This included advising on the future expansion and development of cardiac surgery services; managing the radiology department; and providing continuing medical education for medical staff at the Zayed Hospital and other military health facilities.


General Authority for Health Services

The General Authority engaged Partners to provide a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of cardiovascular services in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.


Abu Dhabi National Rehabilitation Center

In 2006, Partners conducted a comprehensive review of clinical programs for substance abuse patients at the National Rehabilitation Center..
