ACTIVE PROJECTS

Shanghai Huashan Hospital

Shanghai Huashan Hospital (SHH), a not-for-profit academic medical center affiliated with Fudan University and The Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) are actively engaged in a collaboration designed to exchange knowledge among faculty and to facilitate training opportunities. Presently, there are two research fellows in cardiology from Huashan Hospital working in laboratories at the MGH. The MGH also sends senior faculty to Shanghai to collaborate with colleagues at SHH on the development of clinical programs and to deliver lectures.

Beijing and Xi'an

The Partners AIDS Research Center (PARC) has established a collaboration with a network of local scientists and clinicians in Beijing and Xi'an, a metropolitan area in north-central china with more than 6 million residents. With support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the goals of the collaboration are to improve China's HIV/AIDS research capacity, to provide important data for international researchers, and to improve the interface between research and clinical care.
