Any health care or educational facility requires four basic elements to succeed: a clear vision, a strong development team, a scope that is in alignment with the available funding, and a plan that lays out a strategy for long-term sustainability.
Through the planning and design process, we help clinical practitioners analyze how they deliver care or education in their existing environs and to explore new models to increase their effectiveness. We work closely with in-country experts to understand local practices and customs that must be woven into the fabric of the new hospital. We provide assistance throughout the four critical phases of development:
- Initial planning for clinical programs, facilities, organizational structures, and other critical components
- Development and refinement in the pre-commissioning stage of clinical program plans, preliminary equipment selection, IT planning, and quality management
- Commissioning and start-up of operations including operational implementation, leadership and staff development, and other key preparations
- Operations and growth assistance including strategic oversight and advice, further leadership and staff development, and accreditation preparation
