We'd like to direct your attention to a software application called New Innovations (NI). NI is an administrative tool licensed by Partners for our GME training programs. NI is currently being used by our programs for evaluation purposes as well as duty hours monitoring and much more. The GME Office will post important notices and invitations on the WELCOME page, so please be sure to check it occasionally for updates. We have just posted some important links we want you to be aware of under SYSTEM or DEPARTMENT NOTICES (logon instructions below).
How to login to NI:
Logon to New Innovations using any of the following three methods:
- go to the Partners Applications menu from any Partners workstation, or
- from any computer with internet access use the the Autologin link in your reminder email, or
- logon the conventional way below (it is case-sensitive, match the case exactly):
Go to: https://www.new-innov.com/Login/Login.aspx?Hospital=partners
Type CLIENT/Institution: partners
Username and Password: your first initial last name [lowercase, no space] (example: sjones)
(unless you're a previous user at Partners, in which case, you should continue to use your existing logon information.)
This training presentation is designed to introduce the Residency Management Suite to new users.
Logging duty hours:
Partners requires that trainees in ACGME accredited programs log their duty hours using New Innovations. It is your professional responsibility to log hours accurately and honestly. Here is a step-by-step guide to entering your duty hours including a description of each of the duty types.
