Aziz Boxwala, MD, PhD
Dr. Boxwala leads the Knowledge Translation and Specification team in the CDS Consortium. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a Research Scientist at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Prior to this position, he was the Director of Medical Informatics at Eclipsys Corporation where he led the development of clinical knowledge products for the company. He also has served as the Informatics Coordinator for the Institute for Medical Knowledge Implementation. He was a member of the HL7 Clinical Decision Support Technical Committee, where he participated in the development of GELLO.
