Two fun-filled, action-packed weeks!

Calling All Vacationers to our June Vacation Club where you will…

Experience Sounds, Outdoor Fun, and Exhibits!

Week 1:
June 22nd – June 26th

6/22: HEAR the sounds reminiscent of a tropical rainstorm by creating rainsticks. These instruments are made all over the world and we will learn one of many ways to make them.

6/23: Take a trip to DISCOVER the incredible exhibits at the Museum of Science

6/24: LISTEN to the melodic sounds of the Harp. There are different ways to make them. See how we make our Harps!

6/25: SEE the Mapparium at the Mary Baker Eddy Library.

6/26: EXPLORE the Harvard Museum of Natural History!

Week 2:
June 29th – July 2nd

6/29: Kites are part of many different cultures around the world. LEARN a few ways you can make them and have your own next time you go to the park!

6/30: SEE the Boston Public Gardens and EXPERIENCE the Frog Pond and Tadpole Playground in our city’s very own Boston Commons!

7/1: Beaded animals are very simple and fun to make. All you have to bring is your IMAGINATION and CREATIVITY and we’ll show you the rest!

7/2: Field Trip! We will PICNIC and HIKE at Spectacle Island!

7/3: Center Closed in observation of the Fourth of July

*The BWH Backup Center will offer age-appropriate programming to children ages 8 weeks - 5 years during each Vacation Club as well as throughout the summer. Cost: $6/hour. Children of BWH employees with benefits are eligible for Vacation Club and regular backup care.
