Trung Do, Executive Director, Business Development
Trung is Executive Director of Business Development at Partners HealthCare, where he has overall responsibility for developing and managing strategic alliances with industry, and facilitating the marketing of intellectual property from Partners hospitals. 

Trung's background includes more than ten years experience in business development, management and analytical consulting, product development and strategic operational functions.  Prior to Partners, Trung served as the Director of Operations at PharMetrics, a venture-backed start-up providing health care market insights to the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and health plan sectors of the market.  He began his career in health care and life sciences as a consultant with Arthur Andersen and Boston Biomedical Consultants. 

Trung holds an MBA and MA from Boston University and BS from University of California at Irvine. Top

Brian McTigue, Director, Business Development
Brian is Director of Business Development at Partners HealthCare, and currently oversees the intellectual property marketing function within the business development group. Prior to joining Partners, Brian spent almost 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry in sales and sales management across a diverse set of products and therapeutic areas, primarily in immunology related fields. Brian was part of the original sales team at Centocor, and most recently was part of the team that brought Prograf™  immunosuppressant to a dominant share in the transplant market at Fujisawa (Astellas).

Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick. Top

John B. Montana, Director, Business Development
John is Director of Business Development at Partners HealthCare, where his work centers on the establishment of strategic alliances with industry partners in an effort to advance the Partners’ Vision for an Academic Medical Center.  His focuses are in the areas of drug discovery, molecular diagnostics/Personalized Medicine, Connected Health and genetics/genomics. Before coming to Partners, John worked for Putnam Associates, a Burlington, MA-based management consulting firm, specializing in Pharma and Biotech strategy.  His work included assessing licensing opportunities for big pharma, developing novel sales force compensation strategy and building market intelligence through primary and secondary research.

John holds an AM from Harvard University, and BS, cum laude, from Tufts University. Top

Laura Gold Ripin, Associate Director, Business Development – Harvard-Partners Center for Genetics and Genomics (HPCGG)
Laura is Associate Director of Business Development at Partners HealthCare, and currently focuses on establishing strategic alliances with industry partners for the Harvard-Partners Center for Genetics and Genomics. Her efforts seek to advance the incorporation of genetics and genomics into clinical medicine.
Prior to joining the Business Development team, Laura worked in MGH CSRL for six years, where she was most recently a Team Leader.  Her licensing and intellectual property management efforts centered primarily on the MGH Cancer Center, which actively investigates innovative approaches to match individual cancer patients with targeted drug therapies.

Laura holds an MA from Harvard University, and BS, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Emory University. Top

Mary Auge, Manager, Business Development
Mary is Manager of Business Development at Partners HealthCare, where she is responsible for facilitating the out-licensing of Partners Intellectual Property. Her work places her in considerable interface with licensing associates from public and private sector businesses and the clinicians, scientists and leadership across the Partners’ entities, and includes both personnel and functional management.

Mary previously worked as a technician at the Center for Neurological Diseases (CND) at the Harvard Institute of Medicine, where she studied the molecular mechanisms of autoimmune diseases. She began her career in business at Northeastern University’s Intellectual Property Office.

Mary holds an MBA from Northeastern University and BS from the University of Michigan. Top

John Flynn, Manager, Business Development
John is Business Development Manager at Partners HealthCare, where he prioritizes and markets intellectual property arising from Partners hospitals’ research investments, and establishes and maintains system-wide strategic alliances with the life science industries to leverage Partners’ core assets. Prior to joining Partners, John began his career in health care and life sciences at Putnam Associates. His casework covered a broad spectrum of therapeutic disciplines and addressed the challenges faced by manufacturers and their leading products from discovery through patent expiration. 

John holds a BA, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.  Top
