About the Research Accelerator Program

Partners physicians and researchers make significant progress every day against diseases that affect millions of people around the world.

We are tangibly closer than ever to developing new treatments and diagnostic tools for Alzheimer’s Disease, diabetes, heart disease, Parkinson’s Disease and cancer, to name just a few. However, to make laboratory results applicable to patients requires sustained effort and funding.

Accelerating the delivery of promising treatments and technologies to the people who need them is the reason Partners created the Research Accelerator Program (RAP). The Partners Research Accelerator Program is an innovative organization that provides entrepreneurs and business professionals the opportunity to shape the outcome of promising medical research through personal philanthropy and business expertise.

By helping our research teams accelerate the journey from the research laboratory to the bedside, the Research Accelerator Program can make a profound difference in patient care and in the lives of individuals.
