Partners HealthCare's Center for Connected Health published a study recently outlining the success it saw in using text message reminders to encourage patients with skin conditions to take their medications. The patients, who had atopic dermatosis (a type of eczema), participated in a six-week study involving text message reminders and education. At the close of the study, 76% of patients reported having an improved skin condition.
