The U.S. Census Bureau reports that the number of students entering undergraduate and graduate schools in fall 2013 has decreased for the first time since 2006.
Not so at MGH Institute of Health Professions, where the number of full- and part-time students has increased almost 15% for the start of the 2013-2014 academic year.
A total of 422 new students in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Health Professions Education, and Rehabilitation Sciences are on campus. The 1,400 students are the most in the Boston health professions graduate school’s 36-year history, reflecting continued strong demand for its programs.
