Partners HealthCare recently began offering employees access to degrees through a Southern New Hampshire University online program called College for America. The degrees cost about $2,500 per year, most of which is covered by the Partners tuition reimbursement benefit. Both Associate and  Baccalaureate degree programs have been designed to increase access to higher education for working adults.

The College for America offering is part of a nationwide emphasis, highlighted in President Obama's State of the Union address. He called on employers to offer more education for employees.
