The following Partners departments help facilitate various types of engagements with industry.
Partners Innovation coordinates industrial relationships and Intellectual Property (IP) management across Partners HealthCare, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and McLean Hospital. Partners Innovation is committed to a creative, solutions-oriented approach to licensing, ventures, and research that delivers opportunities to improve patient care around the world.
Partners Clinical Trials Office (CTO) is responsible for developing, negotiating, and executing agreements and budgets for industry-sponsored clinical research for Partners affiliates. For more information, visit the Partners Research Navigator through the link above.
The Partners Innovation Fund, created in 2007 by Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, addresses an unmet need for funding early-stage technology to drive improved medical care for patients. The goal of the Fund is to provide necessary support to advance innovation in medical systems, therapy, drugs, and medical devices.
The Partners Office for Interactions with Industry oversees policies on interactions with industry and provides information that helps physicians, employees, and staff maintain relationships with industry that meet Partners HealthCare's high standards of professionalism and integrity.
