Medical Education Research Content Sessions
Programs for educators are held regularly at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Each session has a facilitator and research focus to be posted in advance of the session. Facilitation at at BWH by Jon Borus and Graham McMahon and MGH is by Roy Phitayakorn.
BWH: Occasional programs for Medical Educators on Mondays from 4-5 pm in the Eppinger Library.
Topics include:

- Teaching Effectiveness
- Medical Research
- Writing for Publication

MGH: Monthly sessions in Bulfinch room 222 and Claflin Library. Topics include:
- Methods sessions that discuss different strategies for conducting medical education research
- Journal clubs which address medical education themes including adult learning / instructional theory, curricula, design/evaluation, programmatic assessment, and educational administration
- Works in Progress sessions where medical education research projects are discussed. Projects presented can be in early or advanced stages, with the goal of the session to provider presenters useful feedback on their projects

The BWH Medical Education sessions are held most Mondays, 4-5 pm, Eppinger Conference Room.
MGH Medical Education Research Topics & Dates
Sessions are held once each month, September through May, in Bullfinch Room 222 or in Claflin Library.
