The Outstanding Mentor Award
The award is given to a faculty member who has made an exceptional contribution as a mentor.
Eligibility: Faculty member at one or more Partners teaching hospital for at least three years.
Nominations should include the following:
- at least one and no more than four letters from students, residents, fellows or faculty colleagues (letters may be co-authored)
Nominations should illustrate the ways in which the mentor is unusually effective, and should comment on his/her impact. It may be helpful to describe how this person’s approach to mentoring provides a useful example for others.
Nominations for all awards should be forwarded electronically to Jean Tammaro no later than 5pm on July 15, 2011.
