Partners Career and Workforce Development
As part of our commitment to advancing health care, Partners Career and Workforce Development (PCWD) seeks to assure a permanent pipeline of qualified caregivers to fill current and future workforce needs across the Partners network. Our mission is to reach youth, community residents, and incumbent workers to help them explore and pursue health care careers and, once hired within Partners, to broaden their skills and continue to grow personally and professionally.
We celebrate our successes. A manager who started as a patient transport associate and now has 140 direct reports, a clinical secretary who has earned scholarships to continue her education, a department secretary promoted to administrative assistant serving five physicians, advanced medical imaging technologists who started in High School Youth programs—these are all examples of Partners employees who have successfully utilized the PCWD program
