Partners Domestic Violence Programs
Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Faulkner Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, North Shore Medical Center and Newton Wellesley Hospital and their licensed health centers, provide comprehensive programs to support survivors of domestic violence.
Through its Passageway Program, Brigham and Women’s Hospital supports comprehensive domestic violence services throughout the hospital and at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Brookside Community Health Center, Whittier Street Health Center, and Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center. The Passageway Law Collaborative also provides full legal assessments and support for survivors.
Through its HAVEN program, Massachusetts General Hospital supports comprehensive services in the hospital and at the hospital’s Chelsea and Revere Health Care Centers. In Chelsea, clinicians are able to provide mental health services to children who have witnessed or have been a victim of violence at home or on the street through the PACT program, a partnership with Chelsea Police.
At North Shore Medical Center, programs to address domestic violence are provided in partnership with HAWC (Healing Abuse Working for Change).
Newton Wellesley Hospital provides hospital-based services and partners with The Second Step, a transitional home for survivors of domestic violence, including medical care, transportation, and financial assistance.
