Camp Harbor View Health Explorers Week
Camp Harbor View and Partners Health Explorers provides learning and leadership opportunities for youth.
Camp Harbor View, on Long Island in Boston Harbor, offers hundreds of children from the city a chance to participate in the joys of summer camp in a naturally beautiful setting. Partners Community Health has sponsored the camp since it began in 2007, and is pleased to support its knowledge sharing lessons, the skills building activities and the leadership opportunities for youth.
This past summer, Partners Community Health launched Partners Health Explorers, a program that gives youth who are interested in careers in health care the opportunity to experience connections between science, education and health care - all while enjoying typical summer camp fun.
The Leaders-in-Training program, a core component of Camp Harborview and the Health Explorers week, provides teenagers the chance to build their leadership skills through peer learning. Read more about Camp Harbor View in the Bay State Banner and on connectwithpartners.org.
