SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

We have a great relationship the Adult Day Center at the Villa Michaelangelo. Twice a month, our children will visit the Adult Day Center and enjoy music, art and play activities. It is a rewarding intergenerational program that both the kids and the elders enjoy.

Special fundraising activities are held annually. We alternate between Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Easter Seals. The children enjoy marching, hopping and skipping to help us raise money. We also "Trick-or-Treat for Unicef" each year. These activities allow the children to learn compassion and kindness.

Children are screened for vision problems annually, or as deemed needed by the classroom teacher. Tim, our director, has been trained in vision screening and holds "Children's Vision Screening Certification" issued by Prevent Blindness America.
