  • What is the most effective way to apply for a job online?

    • Go to the Partners HealthCare Corporate Job Search Database and register to set up an online profile. By doing so you can:

      • Maintain your resume online and search for jobs at Partners HealthCare
      • Eliminate the need to enter your resume each time you respond to an open job
      • Update your resume and contact information to ensure we have your most recent information
      • Check the status of jobs for which you have applied
      • Set up search agents and be notified by email of jobs that match your interests
  • What happens to my resume once I apply online?

    • When you apply for a position through our website, your resume is automatically routed to the desk of the appropriate recruiter and/or hiring manager. Your skills and experience will be measured against the job requirements.

  • Should I fax my resume or send hard copy to someone?

    • Using our online application is the best and preferred method for applying for a job, and is the most efficient way to get your information to the appropriate staff person.

  • Are there any other benefits to applying online?

    • All online resume submissions are automatically placed in our applicant tracking system where they will remain for at least one year. Our recruiters regularly search this database. Perhaps you might have overlooked a position that could be a good match for you. By placing your resume in our database, all of our recruiters throughout the network will have access to your information and may contact you about appropriate positions.

  • Will anyone acknowledge receipt of my resume?

    • Yes, you will receive an e-mail confirmation that your resume has been received.

  • How will I be informed of the status of my resume?

    • Due to the volume of applications received, it may not be possible to respond to your inquiries regarding the status of your application. We encourage you to continue to identify new positions on our site, but remind you that repeated submissions for the same position would replace previously submitted applications for that position.

  • How should I keep up with opportunities at Partners HealthCare as they arise?

    • We encourage you to register on our job search page and set up search agents to receive notification of new jobs at Partners HealthCare that match your interests via email. To be considered for a position, you must click on the link provided in the email to apply

  • I found a job listing on Craigslist.org/other external site/ was contacted by someone claiming to be filling a position at Partners HealthCare and was asked to send money and/or conduct an interview over instant messenger. Is this legitimate?

    • Partners HealthCare does not conduct interviews over instant messenger. Applications to Partners jobs must be submitted through our job database on our career website.
      
      We suspect that this is an attempt to fraudulently obtain funds from would be job seekers, as well as an effort to obtain personal identification information. If you think that you may have provided personal information to this scam, we encourage you to take the following actions:
      
      File a report with the Internet Crimes Complaint Center: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
      
      File a report with your local law enforcement authority.
      
      Contact the three major credit-reporting bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and Transunion) and request that a Fraud Alert be placed on your account.
      
      Visit the Federal Trade Commission’s Website, for information concerning identify theft, http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/idtheft/.
