Partners HealthCare is committed to working with community residents and organizations to make measurable, sustainable improvements in the health status of underserved populations. Partners and its hospitals are making a difference in the communities in which we live and work through initiatives on workforce development, prevention and access to health care. In addition, Partners hospitals have provided care to more than 100,000 uninsured and Medicaid patients annually.
Partners Community Benefit programs and grants focus on three important areas:
- Enhancing Access to Health Care
- Building Tomorrow’s Health Care Workforce
- Improving Health Through Prevention
Partners people share a passionate commitment to heal and to care for those in need. Partners supports the passion of dedicated clinicians both directly and by “seeding” their start-up initiatives so they can tackle complex health care challenges and help meet the evolving medical needs of the global community.
From research on infectious diseases including HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis and building community-based treatment programs for these diseases, to building cardiac surgery centers in Rwanda and training physicians in Uganda, initiatives funded by Partners have grown into world-class institutes supported by major philanthropists and foundations.
Giving to Partners
Without our generous benefactors, Partners hospitals would not be able to offer the level of high quality care for which they are known, research new cures, and educate the next generation of caregivers.Learn how you can donate
