Commitment to Giving

At Partners HealthCare, we believe that “giving back” is a vital way to improve the lives of the people we serve. We are proud of our reputation of providing help and hope to those in need.

Our commitment to giving takes many forms. Partners sponsors many programs to improve the physical and mental well-being of underserved populations in the communities we are a part of and which we serve. Beyond the local community, our dedicated clinicians have begun initiatives to help solve major global health challenges.

Disease research is a significant area in which we give back. The widespread benefits of our research include developments in cancer, cardiovascular, and neurological care, as well as advancing knowledge in such areas as bipolar disorder, autism, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress, and more.

In addition, the people and institutions of Partners are often the first to respond when global disaster strikes, bringing much-needed medical personnel, clinical expertise, and services and supplies to people around the world.

Partners HealthCare is committed to working with community residents and organizations to make measurable, sustainable improvements in the health status of underserved populations. Partners’ community benefits strategy is built around initiatives to improve health through prevention, build tomorrow’s health care workforce, and increase access to care.

Partners has “seeded” initiatives led by dedicated clinicians from Partners institutions who are committed to solving major global challenges such as infectious disease, AIDS, malaria, TB, and other complex health care challenges.

Partners institutions, in large part due to the generosity of donors, are at the forefront of important medical research and the diagnosis and treatment of life-threatening diseases.

Partners’ commitment to serving those most in need has resulted in care for global communities when catastrophes have led to suffering and illness and when unforeseen conditions have led to serious outbreaks of disease.

Partners' hospitals have always made philanthropy a key part of their missions.

There are many ways you can give, from individual donations to planned giving, from directed giving to major gifts.

Giving to Partners

Without our generous benefactors, Partners hospitals would not be able to offer the level of high quality care for which they are known, research new cures, and educate the next generation of caregivers.
